Hello and welcome to this special edition of the Doorway. 200 shows is a bit of a landmark for me – perhaps I’m getting the hang of it all now?!!

Many of the tracks in this week’s show reflect the fact today is Remembrance Sunday As always at this time of the year, the show closes with Big Big Train’s Brave Captain – all about Albert Ball, Nottingham’s WW1 Hero whose statue stands in the grounds of Nottingham Castle.

Next week sees the return of the A-Z of Prog but it may only be a temporary return as there is some really exciting news on the near horizon for the Doorway – watch this space!!!

Have a great week!

I'm a musician and presenter of the Doorway Rock Show on 103 The Eye and Progzilla Radio. My show takes listeners on a journey through the very best Progressive Rock. It's a blend of old and new; showing how the classic artists of the 1970s have influenced the very best contemporary artists. I'm also proud to providee a platform for those artists to get their work exposed to a wider audience.
