Happy Sunny Sunday Folks!
Here is last night’s show, aired on 103 The Eye here in the UK. AS promised I’ve attached the link to the video created by Big Big Train as a tribure to David Longden. I’m not sure I’ve come to grips with this sad loss yet.
I’m beginning work on a Christmas Special that will be broadcast by 103 The Eye on Christmas Night. Don’t miss that one!
Have a great week!

It was with huge sadness that I learned of the death of David Longdon, just before this edition of the Doorway went to air on 103 The Eye last night.
David was a Nottinghamshire lad, an incredibly talented singer and songwriter and lead vocalist for Big Big Train. To say he will be missed is a tragic understatement.
My heart goes out to his family, friends and bandmates.
There will be an appropriate tribute in next week’s Doorway.

Here’s the podcast of my FM radio show on 103 The Eye.
In this week’s show I take an in depth look at the Moody Blues album “Days of Future Passed”. It’s one of the albums that laid the foundations for the whole genre of progressive rock.
There’s the usual mix of classic tracks and new releases, and the show ends with a stunning new release from Andy Tillison, Jonas Reingold and Roberto Tiranti (TRT) which you really don’d want to miss!
Have a great week.

I’m reassured that the future of Progressive Rock (however you define it!) is safe in the hands of the young musicians featured in tonight’s show. Exploring Birdsong and The Paradox Twin. I hope you agree.
Have a great week!

Happy Sunny Sunday!
Here’s the podcast of my FM radio show, broadcast on 103 The Eye last evening.
With both Genesis and Steve Hackett on tour at the moment as well as it being Mike Rutherford’s Birthday too, there’s a hint of Genesis in tonight’s show.
I’m also playing some new music from Liverpool based band, Exploring Birdsong which reassures me that the future of progressive rock (whatever it may be!) is in really safe hands!
Have a great week!
Ian
